About the event
The course will comprehensively cover all aspects of National Transit Database (NTD) reporting for these systems including organizational, operational, financial, service, asset inventory, and safety information. The course will also cover how NTD data is used in funding formulas and how decisions made during NTD reporting can impact formula allocations. The course will include hands-on components where attendees practice accessing their own NTD data and formula data from the FTA website. The course will be tailored towards Tribal Transit recipients, who generally report using the NTD’s Reduced Reporting requirements. Those elements of NTD Reporting that are only applicable to Full Urban Reporters will not be covered as part of the course but can be answered as part of Q&A.
